Reinstall orbi rbk53 after provider swap?
I am thinking of choosing another internet provider. Do i have to reinstall my orbi setup too if i do that? Any help would be appreciated. Thx
You don’t need to reinstall Orbi when you change ISP.
The internet configuration will be automatically updated once you connect the new modem. You can also force an update by going to Internet settings in the web GUI under ADVANCED >> Setup >> Internet and clicking on “Test”.
If you have Orbi in Router Mode, then just make sure that the new modem will be a “plain” modem and will not have any routing capabilities.
