Replaced Modem No Internet Now on ORBK50
I am no longer able to get internet s through my ORBI RBK50 although my devices in my home can connect to the network. I very recently had to replace a bad modem I was renting from my ISP (Xfinity). ...
Try power OFF both modem and RBR for 1 minute then back ON. Pull the power cords for each.
Yeah I’ve tried that several times and got the same result.
Does connecting a wired PC directly to the modem work?
If the prior modem and RBR had been working and the new modem doesn't with the RBR, I would presume there is something wrong with the new modem and would contact the mfr about it.
- Yeah I ruled out the modem. I’m able to run an Ethernet cable from the modem to my PC with no problem.
So with a wired PC and a factory reset, you walked thru the setup wizard on the RBR and completed it and its giving you no internet service or does it report showing No internet on the Basic Tab Internet status tile?
