Does the RBS work with the stock adapter?
Be sure you bought the correct AC adapter for the RBS. The voltage and AMPs are most important and should be the same. One can always use an longer extension cord instead of replacing the stock adapter to gain cord length.

ThanksLook at the sticker on the stock adapter, this will have the voltage and AMPs needed.
I would keep using the stock adpater and just get you a long power extension cord.
