Restore RBR50v1 backup config to RBR50v2
Looking at buying a used rbr50v2 and rbs50v2 pack, to add to my existing rbr50v1 and 2x rbs50v1 setup. I was going to convert the v1 router to a satellite and then use the v2 router as the router for the whole setup.
Question is, if I backup all my config from the v1 router, will it restore to the v2 router? I know it's not possible between different models but is it possible between same model, different version?

My vote is "try it and see." When the original Orbi RBR50 was designed back in 2015-16, the engineers equipped it with every bell and whistle they could think of, including a USB port and Bluetooth. Alas, as the product rolled out, it soon became obvious that the USB port (and Bluetooth) capabilities were not going to be utilized. Likewise, the product had more memory than actually required. Thus, the "v2" product was released which is less costly to manufacture.
Since they run exactly the same firmware image, my guess is that a backup file from the "v1" will load and function on a "v2". If it doesn't, just Factory Reset the v2.
