I tried everything bro. It's not working anymore. Apparently a lot of people are having the same issue, Orbis just dying out of nowhere. Three years isn't even that long. It still looks fresh out of the box that's how well taken care of it is. So yeah idk wth happened. I'll probably end up grabbing a used one from ebay or something. Like i said the satellite still works so might as well put it to use again.

did you try tftp or nmrpflash? (try an older firmware version)
You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

I already tried doing tftp, many times actually but nothing happens. The green led is the only thing that works. I have yet to try the other method you suggested but when i go to install the program i get an error message saying wpcap.dll not found. It says reinstalling might help but it doesn't.
Nevermind i downloaded then intallled the file needed. I'm just trying to follow a guide i found but it seems way more complicated than tftp. Wish me luck lol.

nmrp can be a little more tricky but tends to be more successfull in hitting the short window that netgear devices need to get the firmware pushed.

I tried the nmrp suggestion but this thing isn't responding to anything. The green led just stays solid all the time. It's truly dead but why? Who the hell knows. Orbis lasting only a few years, in my case just three, is crazy. My tp-link router is good for now but we need something more substantial. Ebay has a lot for sale, mostly used of course but the prices are too good to pass up.
