The ROKU works when I use a different interenet source (my phone as a hotspot). So I dont beleive the problem is with the ROKU.

Now, I am 100% sure the cause of the problem is the Orbi router / sattelite.
I switched out the Orbi and connectected my old D-Link router I had before the Orbi, and the Roku works.
I suspect the issue is caused by the recenr firmware update on the RBR50 (2.7.3.22). Just dont know what.
Is there no one at Netgear who can assist? I can pay for support (which costs as much as a new router) with no guarantee of a fix...
Any help would be appreciated.

As a quick test, disable WPA security on the RBR. Turn OFF the RBS.
See if the Roku will connect with the open SSID. If so, try setting WPA and TPIK and see.
Then try WPA2 and AES.
Try factory resetting the Roku.

Thank you FURRYe38 for your suggesstions.
FYI, the ROKU connects to the WIFI no problem - It is not able to connect to the internet.
In any case, I did try your suggestion, I turned off the RBS, disabled WPA and restarted the ROKU.- connects to the WIFI but still no internet.
Maybe this helps: this all started when I paused interenet on the Roku using the Orbi App. The Roku was not able to connect back to the internet when I "un-paused" it.
I think the Firmware update did mention something about an update to parental controls. So not sure if that has anything to do with the problem.
Thank you again, for your help.
