Roon cannot see endpoint as audio zone on Orbi RBK50 satellite
I use Roon to play music. It is an online digital media player that plays music stored on a network through audio zones ("endpoints") on the network. Problem - the kitchen audio endpoint appe...

Could you please check to see whether UPnP is enabled on this system?

Yes UPnP is on.

well, darn**. Since you were able to connect the kitchen unit to the main router, would it be possible to test it on satellite 1? (That would confirm the issue is with the router-satellite connection rather than with satellite 2.)
What are the model numbers of those two switches?
** There have been discussions on the internet about UPnP and certain Ethernet switch implementations of IGMP Snooping. Basically, the switch learns about a UPnP capable device on the network and then "forgets" about it because the IGMP Snooping code is faulty.
If you have occasion to contact the Roon support folks again, it might be worth asking them how their software knows which compatible sound systems are on the network and what their IP addresses are.
On Android and Windows, there are UPnP Scanner (or Analyzer) apps that will check every device on the network to see which are capable of UPnP connection. (On my network, the Sony TV, Sony DVD, and Sonos speaker show up. Echo Dot and Google Nest Mini do not.)

I really appreciate your help!
I connected the kitchen audio to the other satellite (study) and there was the same problem - it showed up on the network as a device attached to the satellite but couldn't be picked up by Roon. I also tried reinstalling the Roon software.
I then connected it to one of the switches (so it was hard-connected to the router) and it showed up in Roon.
So it's a satellite/wifi problem.
Roon support said:
"The Meridian MS200 [kitchen endpoint] is registering on our diagnostic servers on a different subnetwork than the other endpoints in your ecosystem - the access point is likely creating a dedicated subnetwork for WiFi while functioning as an access point for ethernet."
However I checked this and everything is on the same subnet.

You asked about the model numbers of the switches - they are both English Electric 8switch.
I tried the UPnP analyser but all it picked up on the network was a completely different audio device of my daughter's that isn't a Roon endpoint.
