Router Not Passing WiFi Traffic

Hello all,

I am having a curious issue. My Orbi router will never come off the purple color, meaning it is not connecting to the Internet. What is curious is the PC I am typing this message from is hardwired to the same router, and is obviously passing traffic. Has anyone seen this issue before? I am running 2.3.5.30.

Thanks,

Steve

2.3.5.30 has known issues, so it might be FW related.  How did you get 2.3.5.30.?

Talk to us about your modem and how you have it connected to the Orbi.

According to the Netgear web site (https://kb.netgear.com/31030/What-do-the-LEDs-on-my-Orbi-router-and-satellite-mean)

    The router ring light:

Pulsing magenta. Your Orbi router ring LED might pulse magenta for the following reasons: the WAN port link is down, the router is unable to get the IP address from the modem or ISP, or the router is unable to connect to the Internet.

Is the Orbi set up as a router or an Access Point (AP)?

Just to confirm: a PC wired to the Orbi can access the internet, but devices connected by WiFi cannot?

The magenta (purple) ring light is "pulsing"?
