Ok seems I found the issue and as Mstrbig said, it can indeed be many things and never as simple as it's an Orbi issue.
The issue seems to be due to a Samsung soundbar, which is connected to wifi through the router.
The overall Samsung wifi connect and App are crap and not working very well. The App lose the connection to the soundbar quite easily. Last time I tried to re-connect the App to the bar it failed several times and I gave up, which was a mistake. Each time the Soundbar is on, it probably tries to connect to something and kills the wifi on the router.
That's where, having better log, on AP mode, than "admin login at xxx" would be definitely helpful.
I've completely removed the bar from the wifi network and so far back to 500+Mb. I'll see how it goes.

FURRYe38 wrote:"Distance bewteen each about 15 feet, 1 per floor roughly directly above each others," Distance would be too close. 30 feet or more is recommended. Having to much wifi over lap can and will cause problems.
You can revert back to prior working FW version as well and see if your problem resolves.
FURRYe38 Yes reverting to 2.3.5.30.
I don't think, considering what's in between each floor (concrete, metal), there's a problematic overlap. If so it should affect the stallite too and, the degradation of performance should be almost all the time, not progressive. The only "negative" faced is sometimes I'm not connected to the closest Orbi. But I will try to remove one to check too.

So you are saying your wifi speeds are fine through satellites, but the Orbi router or master router that the Orbi router iis connected to, is slow?If the Orbi router is slow, there can be many factors causing it.
Mstrbig Only the Orbi router wifi part is having a problem, all the rest works fine.
