Satellite LAN bug fixed by August 2020?
I'm shopping for a mesh system and Orbi keeps winding up at the top of my list. I could get a RBK23, or an RBK50 and think about adding an extra satellite later, ideally an RBS20. (It would be diff...
90% or errors are caused by user config or faulty cabling, etc..
With that said if you are going to use wired backhaul, which I use, you should have no issues. Regarding firmware, from what I've read the users that have issues are the ones that manually upgrade before the software shows the firmware, or the ones who do not upgrade when the software or website sows one available. I'm on the latest official for my RBK50 system and have absoluterly no issues. Wired backhaul, super fast, super coverage.
I should have clarified: in case it matters, that I will need at least one wireless-backhaul node. That's why I'm adamant about getting something tri-band, and why, if I get the RBK50, I'll be using the RBS50 in that specific location. It did sound like some people were having issues with mixed wired/wireless sateliites, though.
