Satellite not syncing

I have an rbr50 with one satellite (rbs50). It was all working perfectly till I installed an update on the rbr50 through the app. Ever since that installation the satellite is not syncing and not showing up in the orbi app as well (which is why I am not being able to make any updates). Have tried factory reset but hasn’t worked. The satellite keeps syncing (slow blinking white rings) till it settles on a solid pink. 1. How can I fix this? 2. How can I find out if my satellite has hardware issues?
