Satellite Wifi Name on Orbi RBK12
Purchased an Orbi RBK12 Router and one satellite kit. Router setup fine but synch to satellite was painfully difficult even when I moved the satellite in the same room. Finnaly after an hour of sync...

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. When I tried
that, I found:
2. On your WiFi-enabled computer or mobile device, find and select
the WiFi network. The WiFi network name is on the router label.
The WiFi network name is the same for the router and the
satellite in the Orbi WiFi System.
I pay very little attention to Netgear mesh products, so I know
nothing, but my dim impression was that the whole point of a mesh system
was to have one wireless SSID for all units, and the system would settle
the argument about which client connected to which access point. What
was your understanding of what you were buying?
