As FURRYe38 mentioned, "security" is ambiguous.  There is

• WiFi logon security - enabled if you set a password. 
• The administrative web interface security - enabled if you set a password.
• The Orbi "App" security - which is based on the Netgear forum login, which includes a password,
  AND
• The Bitdefender Armor security service, which can be activated (for a free trial)
  * when the Orbi is initiall configured using the web interface, or
  * by scrolling down the Orbi App main screen to "Security"
