Serious connectivity bug with RBR20-V2.6.1.38 firmware
I recently upgraded my RBR20 to the RBR20-V2.6.1.38 firmware (from RBR20-V2.5.1.16). After the upgrade I was no longer able to connect to my NAS, which is connected via ethernet directly to the route...
I did a manual upgrade using the latest RBR20 and RBS20 FW from the Netgear site. I did the upgrade because my understanding is that the version I was using has some security issues that have been fixed in the latest version. Pick your poison.

According to netgear IF the security issue was as you state they would have pushed the update to you no action on your part. But as all things in life it's your choice. I would question your security info source
