Setting up Nighthawk R7000 as repeater to Orbi AC2200

It would probably help if you can explain more about the end result being sought.  i.e. in a general description in words rather than a "mode name".  "I want to put the R7000 in (this part) of the house, connect it to the Orbi using (WiFi? ethernet cable?) and have devices in that part of the house (do what?)"

The Nighthawk R7000 User Guide explains how to set up an R7000 in three alternate modes starting on page 83. Bridge mode and repeater mode require an ethernet connection between the R7000 and the Orbi.  Access Point mode does not.

Orbi cannot be set up as a "bridge" No way.  No how.
