Setting up Orbi Satellite for just ethernet

I have a handful of Orbi satellites, and want to setup a satellite for the sole purpose to connect a gaming system and reciever through ethernet. While I have a satellite within 30 ft of the area that they are located, I am unable to run ethernet without having to cut holes in walls. I do not want the satellite to allow devices to connect through 2.4g or 5g, this will cause connection jumps whenever we walk around. Please let me know if this is possible or if anyone has tried it.

  • I am not aware of an method that can force a satellite to refust WiFi connections.  Looks to me like you have a choice: (a) drill holes to run ethernet cable or (b) connect using ethernet and not walk around while on video chats.

    Sorry.
