Sounds like you have a lot going on there... and one of the best clues was your comment about your Vlan ID.
Can you tell us the specific equipment your Orbi is plugged into? (Make/Model)

When your system did work, how was it configured?
I got the RBK50 AC3000 hooked to Alcatel-Lucent ISP ONT (cannot change)
I called my ISP and they gave me the Vlan ID which i entered in the orbi configuration setup but still did not work. So I basically configured my orbi to access point setup and hooked it up to my d-link AC1300 using an ethernet cable.
