Should I turn off my Orbis at night?

My wife believes that the person who installed our system said to turn it off at night.  That doesn't make sense to me, but would like to know if anybody does this and why.

    You should not. If you turn them off, the satellite(s) and the router will stop communicating. You will have to sync the satellites again. And that might take time.

    these system / routers are designed to be on 24/7 these days , if however you would prefer to not have the wifi transmitting at night and no one wants to use it there is no issue with switching them of ( apart from the switches may wear over time )
