Should I stay with 2.3.5.30, or is there any newer firmware that is as stable as 2.3.5.30?
Stay on 2.3.5.30. I have two Orbi's. The one in my house is currently on 2.5.1.16 and "works fine." However, I left it "stock". The one across the country (where I have been unable to visit) remains on 2.5.5.30 and "works fine."
We have sort of a mantra, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Unless there is "something wrong" with your Orbi that the release notes claim have been addressed, leave well enough alone.
Sorry to be strident, but you did ask.
