SLOW ON MAC but not other IOS devices??

Hello,    Just installed my Orbi RBK50 and the internet is extremely fast (more than 275 Mbs) except on my MACBOOK (55 Mbs)? Any idea why?    Thanks  ALY

On Wireless, a 30% reduction in sp[eed versus all others devices ie Iphone and Ipad

I would ask Apple for additional help and information regarding this. Have seen some various posts about OSX 10.15 giving different problems. I have a MBP using 10.14 still. 

 

Make sure the Mac book is connecting to a 5Ghz frequency. 

Press Option on the keyboard then left click on the wifi icon at the top right hand tool bar. This will show you what the laptop is connected at and speed, Mbps. You might collect wifi logs on the mac and send this to Apple for review.
