Smart TV cannot connect to Orbi RBK50 Satellite
Hello
I just purchased a new LG smart TV, but it cannot connect to the satellite which is right next to TV.
TV can connect to the main router after I unplug the satellite unit , but the main base unit is located far from my TV so the bandwith is very low.
TV can also connect to my cellphone hotspot smoothly, so I don't think it is TV's problem.
I also have bunch other devices can connect to the satellite without any problem, just the TV.
Any solutions?
Thank you.

On what channel is the Orbi satellite wireless AP operating?
Does the new TV "see" the Obri satellite wireless with the high signal level and "just" fails to connect - or does the TV not show it at all?
If the satellite is very close to the TV, can you connect the TV with an ethernet cable?

TV will be able to find my wifi with full signal, but since it closer to the satellite, I assume it just trys to connect to the satellite.
unplug satellite, still full signal, and it will connect to main router instantly.
How far from the main router is the satellite? 30 ft is recommended. If its closer than that is causes issues with band steering/device steering.
If you make sure its far enough away, and then let it connect, running it for 48 hours and see if it dynamically switches. I've had mine take a couple days to stabilize. Not sure exactly why.
