Software updates for Orbi 3000
My internet provider tells me I need to update my Orbi 3000 software. How do I do that?

why are they reporting that?
What firmware are you on?You can manually update it. If you do, update the satellites first, then the router.

Does it appear that this message was directed specifically at you and not generic advice that an essential part of computer security is to make sure all devices are up-to-date on software updates?
Unless the Orbi was provided by the ISP, I struggle to imagine how the ISP would have any idea what product each customer has connected to their service, let alone that it needs a software update.
