Streaming and gaming with the RBs20 questions

Not really sure if im in the right category or not. Come home and the family has swapped routers to the netgear oribi satellite RBS20 router and i know nothing about it. they try to tell me you can connect an ethernet cable to it and blah blah blah. I stream on twitch. i run high demanding games on it while streaming and i get on tonight to kind of test things out. so i stream some netflix on one screen while playing World of warcarft on another. having serious lag while barley fighting a npc. My questions is is this router suitable for gaming. and live streaming and is there a way to set it up to better handle it. before i ran a ethernet cable from my router that was connected straight to the modem and now i have something not connected to anything except a electric plug and my computer is connected to it. Hope some of this made sense and hope someone can help out. thanks
