You can also try running a bandwidth test to your synology using iPerf3.
1. Install iperf3 package on your synology NAS from here http://www.jadahl.com/iperf/DSM_6.2/
2. Enable SSH in the control panel
3. ssh into your NAS and run iperf3 -s this will put iperf into server listening mode.
4. install iperf3 on a device (if using iOS i recommend HE.net tools)
5. on your client device run iperf3 -c NAS-IP-ADDRESS -t 10 -P 10
- this will send data to your NAS in multiple processes and will tell you the max transfer rate.
On my setup I ran this from a Zidoo X9S android media player hard wired to my satellite. Wireless backhaul to the router and gone a consistent 786 Mbps. Router is in the basement and satellite is upstairs. I'm able to stream 4K HDR bluray ISO without issue...only after I disabled interface bridging on my NAS.
