Support messed me up!

I tried to install the Orbi tri-band mesh network today. After setting it all up, I called Netgear support to help me change the wifi name. This guys asked me to do a bunch of things on the setup which killed the wifi completely! He tried to fix it and when it looked like it was not going to be fixed, he disconnected. The next guy I called showed a lot of attitude but no competence.

 

I am wondering if I should try setting this up again (because it worked before I called Netgear support) or just return it to Costco
