TCL ROKU TV no longer connecting to internet either wireless or wired after orbi RBR40 update
Hi Forum: 2 days ago there was a firmware update on my RBR40 router--not the satellites. After rebooting, all my connected devices came back EXCEPT my 2 TCL TV's which run on the Roku platform. No...

I have already done as you suggested after the firmware updated, and it didn't work. Again, the Roku can see the network, but cannot connect to the iternet. And all my other devices connected. I'm using Firmware V2.5.1.22

Thank you--that seems to be what I will need.
I am likely going to do that--change to manual DNS settings and use OpenDNS, google dns, and I can choose a third.
Couple of questions if you know the answer--will I need to RESET my RBR or just reboot?
And would creating a VPN be another way to do it--I could just have my Roku's connect to the VPN and leave everything as is? I've never tried that before.

Thanks. You have been very helpful. I likely cannot do that until tomorrow because my kids are currently in school right now, and as you guessed, school is done remotely where I live at home because of COVID. Resetting the Orbi is a hassle but rebooting is not.
Given how helpful you've been, do you think setting up a VPN would be another workaround and I wouldn't have to reboot?
