Teardown surprise - Bluetooth chip and antenna port on the Orbi RBR50 board??

Question

For reason to be explained some other time, I did a teardown if the RBR50. To my surprise, there is a Bluethooth chip (CSR8811-A12U) and an unused antenna port. Anybody know the story of this?

I'll bet the original design engineers thought, "Why not? I'm sure it will be good for something." Sort of like the USB port.
