Tesla Wall Connector unable to connect

Hi,

i have a Netgear Orbi Setup (RBR20 Main, and 2 RBS20 Satellites).

When i started to add some IoT devices recently i had major issues with connecting them to the network. All the vendors of IoT devices i asked, said they know about those issues with mesh networking equipment.
After some playing around with the options it usually worked.

Usually disabling SSID broadcast for 5Ghz and sometimes even lowering the 5GHz signal power did the trick to make the initial connection, and i could revert the signal power just fine.

However with my recent addition of the Tesla Wall Connector Gen3 this did not work. After a few days and hours of trying i gave up. Took out an old TP-Link router and plugged it into the LAN port of the closest Orbi and configured it as access point with a new WIFI. This worked on the first try and with no issues since.

Is there any way to get the Orbi to play nicer with the IoT devices on the 2,4 GHz channel, or can i assume it's just not compatible and Netgear does not intend to do anything about it - as it does not seem to be limited to my 3 year old gear, but also newer devices? In a time with more and more IoT this seems like a very strange company policy.
