Touch controls on Orbi voice RBS40V not working after initial firmware update during setup.

Question

Hello there, i setup new&nbsp;RBS40V Orbi voice along with&nbsp;RBK50V router. The router works as expected but the voice satellite is acting up with touch controls on top. I did notice out of the box the top controls were working and blinking but after the very first update the controls stopped working. After that i have tried to reset multiple times, downgraded firmware twice to 2 previous versions still no luck. Now its running back on latest firmware and everything else works as expected but the mute/volume/Alexa buttons on top. Does anyone know when a fix for this is expected or is there anything else I need to try to get the touch buttons to start working again?&nbsp;Thanks

What Firmware version is currently loaded on the RBK system?How long are you pressing the reset button on the RBS? 15 seconds minimum then release.&nbsp;

Yep i am pressing the reset button a good 20 seconds. It completely reset the satellite both times.

RBK50 is running on 2.5.1.8
RBS40 is running on 2.5.1.2 as of now. I did downgrade it to 2.3.6.4 and 2.3.0.8 to see if it makes a difference as i believe this unit was made in 2018 and out of box the top touch buttons were working before initial setup and firmware update. I bought this system new and got it delivered yesterday.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Might contact NG support and ask for help and information on the RBS40v.

I presume all the other features on the RBS is working?

It says Spectrum, dont really see a model number. I see PC15 or 100618 :s.Just completed a new reset and new setup from scratch. Top touch buttons still did not illuminate on the voice satellite. This time of course there was no update as both units were updated already. Yes the satellite works fine otherwise no issues but the touch buttons not working at all. I did reach out to NG support took 2 hours lol well they couldnt figure out why this is happening. I read other posts, some from last year with same issue. I thought i will ask here as well to be sure im not missing something.
