Thanks. Our new Orbi WiFi network is up and running.
If even possible, would there be any benefit to my using the new Orbi RBK50 as a modem like its predecessor Cisco.
That is, internet cable would go directly frim the wall into the Orbi "internet" port .
I'm clueless about efficiency differences but there would be one less device (Cisco router/modem) on the table :-)

The orbi system doesn't have a modem built in, youll need a modem in front of the RBR. The RBR is just a wifi router only.
IF it's up and running...enjoy it for now.
