Thank U for responding - I am not technically savvy - is there a limit on number of devices that I can connect - reason I ask is if all the people in my holusehold are using some device we get this problem - so issue is not really with only the Mac(be cause sometimes it connects without any issues) - it even happens when my wife sometimes turns on her Dell Windows laptop or I use my iPad (it feels like if there are quite a few devices I see this problem)
ISP is Spectrum (used to be Time Warner)
Modem is: Technicolor
Mac - Macbook Pro
Mac OS - High Sierra
I dont know where do I go in and disable this:
Try disabling the following:
Beamforming, MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming if seen

I went into Advanced Wireless Settings and found the following: (should I disable the Daisy Chain Topology)?
Backhaul Topology
Daisy Chain Topology is check marked
Beamforming, MIMO and Fast Roaming are unchecked

Yes disable Daisy Chain as well.
After making these changes, see if the problem continues. Seems like something maybe causing devices to drop connection or being a connection hob maybe and something could be preventing all devices.
I would test this out when people get home. Leave the Mac Book connected, then have each other device connect to the wifi one at a time. Not all at once. I would ask your users to have them be present with you so you can see whats happening at each stage.
