unable to down load new firmware
When I try to update to the newest firmware I get the message, There was a problem checking the firmware. What do I do. I am computer illiterate.

How did you update the firmware? Is it via app or web UI?

I am running 2.3.6.4 and every time I go to check the firmware it says downloading and fails to install. I assume you are runing this version?
Seems it keeps trying to downlaod and instal lthe same version that is altready on there so fails?
This also causes my RBS50 and RBR50 to not be able to update as the update button can be greyed out. To get around this turn off the RBS40V and then update the others and then switch the RBS40V back on.
I know others have the same issue and workaround. Hopefully Netgear will ffix this firmware update for the Orbi Voice soon in the next release
