Unable to enable remote access - Registered to another account

When I am trying to enable remote access it syas "This netgear device is already registered with another account. I bought it from Amamazon yesterday. Please help   Thanks   Anish

    Having similar issue. Was working fine till after the update when I started getting the message the device is already registered to another account.

        They won’t help me because the warranty is expired on it. I am the original owner of this Wi-Fi router that’s why I don’t understand. This happened when the app updated and now when I login it doesn’t recognize my account.
