Unable to pair/link Zmodo greet door bell to Orbi
Hello,
I have the Orbi RBR40 router and the satellite. I am trying to pair the Zmodo greet door bell but have been unsuccessful due to the frequency bands on the orbi 2.4Ghz and the 5.0 Ghz share the same SSID name. I called Zmodo and they told me that I need to give the 2Ghz a new SSID name to connect/link the greet door bell.
I called the customer support at Netgear and I was told by the agent that the name cannot be changed.
Anyone else encountered this problem, and how did you solve it. I would appreciate the help.
Did anyone have an issue with the Ring door bell?
Thank you
Pammi

I have the Greet, in fact I had it before I got my Orbi system. When I installed the Orbi, I turned off the wifi from my ISP's router, renamed the Orbi ssid to my old network name with the same password. The greet works just fine. Can't see it on the Orbi app as a connected device, which is weird, but it works just fine.
