unable to register product - already registered AC3000

I am trying to register my router I purchased refurbished from Amazon today and am being told the router was already registered and need to enter another number.  I saw other solutions where the Netg...

    Yes. I checked both my personal email and messages with private mailbox in Netgear community. Is there somewhere else to check?

        Thanks All.  I have been sent the requested information through private message to Blanca.  this should resolve my issue.  It appears if you purchase a refurbished product which has previously been registered, it has to be manually overridden.  Otherwise, you cannot register.
