Unable to see attached devices on guest network - RBR50/RBS50
Hi, I have an RBR50/RBS50 setup all generally working without issue. I wanted to take a look at the devices connected to my guest network as I'm going to change the password. I can't see how to...

I did the same experiment on firmware 2.7.2.104 and was alarmed that my phone continued to show as connected at 5G for a long time.
Then I got out the Orbi "app" on my tablet, and the phone showed up connected to Guest Network 5G with an IP address from the DHCP pool and some goofy name.
Going back to the Orbi Attached Devices, it is now showing with that goofy name and "5G Guest".
It had never occured to me to test what IP address is assigned to Guest devices and whether the LAN Setup Table was involved when they connect.
So, yes, the Orbi Attached Devices and Orbi "app" are both supposed to identify which devices are connected to the Guest WiFi and which WiFi band they are using. All I can think of to suggest is to turn the Orbi off and back on again, which is horribly disruptive.

Thanks for the reply.
So, this morning, I couldn't see any devices connected to my guest network. Turns out there's a good reason for this - the devices that use the guest network were (unknown to me) turned off :smileyembarrassed:
Even so, I've repeated the test - moving my phone from primary to guest network. I get the same results as you. My phone remains on there as being connected to the primary network. What I now notice, is that at the bottom of the list is an unidentified device with a weird name connected to the guest network. Sure enough, when I check the IP address on my phone, it matches the address of this device.
So, all's well, I'll make sure I check the obvious before posting on here in future!
