UNbrick RBR50

All, as i'm a newby on this kind of detail and frums be a little patience with me.
also my english is not my native one but Dutch is.

i have as stated a RBR50 with only power light on.

nothing more even network is total dead

i was trying to follow this link to see if i can shed some light on the router what is wrong with it in total. link : https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Is-my-13-month-old-RBR50-bricked/m-p/2009904

so i ordered the 232 USB and connected that to router

i installed tera term on a windows 10 laptop

set the correct parameter for accessing the router

switched router ON to see yes/no boot process

but totally nothing happens or something to see in tera term

Anyone ANY idea what to do

everyting is appriciated

i find it totally wrong if NG is saying just buy a new one this one seems to be broken...
