Unregister orbi from my account

I have an orbi router that I need removed from my account so my ex can register it to hers please.

Factory reset the RBR and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser first.

So, Ive done this and it no longer shows on my account. But during set up it states it is still registered to me. Do I need to factory reset it?
