Wire connect 1 PC to the back of the RBS. Factory reset the RBS, wait about 5 minute. The PC will get a IP address from the satellite. it will be 192.168.1.250. Use this IP address in a web browser to log in to the satellites web page. Log in as admin and password. Use the satellites web page FW update feature to select the FW update file that was unpacked from the .zip file. Then factory reset and then re-sync the satellites to the RBR.

So do you have internet with the RBR if the RBS is not connected?
When the RBS is connected and your connecting thru the RBS, the RBS fails here?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

Ive done some testing now..
The RBR is working flawless, but when adding the RBS even the RBR fails as mentioned above. The internet drops out, even though if Im connected to the RBR when checking the app. If I however disable and enable WIFI it gets back online for some time before the same thing happens again.
Ive tried to move the RBS closer but there is no change in behaviour.
Ive tried 30ft, 25ft and 40ft. Plain sight, no walls blocking signal.
Is my RBS dead or whats happening?
Are there any way I can export a log file from Orbi that someone can analyze?- FURRYe38Apr 30, 2020Guru - Experienced User
Is the ISP Modem in router or bridge mode? Should be bridged.
Sounds like if the RBR works alone and then fails with the RBS connected or the RBS fails when connected, something is going on at the RBS.
I would open up a support ticked and ask for help on the RBS. Ask about an RMA.
- Silk82Apr 30, 2020TutorIts in bridge mode.
Ill open up a RMA, thanks.
