Upgrading my RBS50...
I purchased an Orbi RBS50 Router and Satellite for my home a couple of years ago. I have been happy with the product, but I need to improve the range into my attached garage. I know this is one of the older models. I do not think there is an extra satellite I can buy and connect to the router I currently have. If I choose to upgrade to a whgole new system, what do you suggest I do for extended home use?

Yes, the Orbi product was submitted to the FCC in 2016 and for some time was the leading WiFi "mesh" WiFi system. I purchased Orbi in 2018 and have been totally satisfied with it. WiFi6 has now been finalized and products are being introduced that take advantage of the new features. (Mostly cell phones and laptops.)
The awkward situation is (a) there is no concensus about which WiFi 6 product is superior, most "cost effective", or anything, and (b) very few of us own any products which can take advantage of WiFi6 capabilities. None of our existing WiFi devices gain much from WiFi6 (if anything). Meanwhile, every Orbi satellite (except the new RBS10 model) will integrate with your existing Orbi system to extend service to the garage area.
My choice would be to pick up a regular Orbi satellite to add to the existing system and defer major expenditures until the WiFi landscape is better developed. RBS20, RBW30, RBS50. Availability depends on where you live.
