Using Cable MOdem as a Router without Coax Cable
I just recently changed my Internet service to Fiber and no longer need a cable modem is there a way i can use my Cable Modem without plugging in the Coaxial Cable and plugging in the Ethernet since it has ethernet ports i know its not for internet but trying to salvage what i can please advise

iYou can use the CBR as a wired AP if you set a different or an IP address that matches what the IP address pool comes from another upstream router and disable the CBRs DHCP server. Connect the ethernet from the host router to the LAN port on the CBR and can use it as a wifi AP. You can add the RBS as well, however the top ring LED will always be on PINK and the front cable signal LED downlink will always blink as well, I tried this with mine and it worked.
