Using Orbi CBR40 as strictly router?
How do I use the ORBI CBR40 as strictly a wifi router with a Spectrum supplied modem? There are no ethernet "inputs" into the CBR40.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi With Cable Modem products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi with cable modem and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-with-Built-in-Cable-Modem/bd-p/en-home-orbi-cableNo, only as a AP on in bridge mode which changes CBR to a modem only and disable wifi and router on the CBR.
Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

The product data sheet on page 4 is specific, What do I need? "High speed cable internet." The CBR40 replaces the Spectrum modem.
It is not designed to connect to a modem. It is the modem. (If you had a fiber ONT rather than a cable coax, then you would be screwed.)
