I have got Vodaphone gigafast broadband being installed on Friday. The support line says that I will need my PPoE username and password to use the supplied router\modem as a modem. What do I need...

Thanks for the replies.
Yes there is a router built in to the modem.
I am hoping that it has a modem only mode like my current Virgin Fibre box and I can disable the router accessing the router/modem from a PC.
The box is a Vodaphone AF81C9 which AFAIK has no manual you can access online.
The useles outsoursed "tech support" could not supply a manual either.

The useles outsoursed "tech support" could not supply a manual either.IMO...your best option would be to ask if your IP has a straight modem only type modem. If not, then you're faced with 2 routers in your network, and although it can be done will require configuring like the posts above. Good luck.
