VPN not working with Orbi RBR10 installed

I have installed my Orbi RBR10 wifi extender, set in AP with Xfinity router in Router mode (I could not get the Orbi wifi to work with Orbi RBR10 in Router mode and Xfinity modem in bridge mode).

Now, I am trying to connect to my work VPN (Nomad / Cisco product) and it doesn't work. I repeatedly get a "Login Failed" message from my VPN, yet when I go to my neighbour, it works fine. I have tried using my VPN both on the Orbi wifi and on the Xfinity wifi which is still running but none of them allow me to connect through VPN. Internet works fine on both networks though.

Please help, I don't want to go through the useless helpdesks, it takes too much time and usually they have no added value.
