What does it mean when the top light on a satellite node glows orange?

After a short time it glows blue. This happens repeatedly every 10 minutes or so

Blue The connection between the satellite and router is good.
Amber The connection between the satellite and router is fair. Consider moving the satellite closer to the router.
Magenta The satellite was unable to connect to the router. Move the satellite closer to the router
Are you having any connection issues when it is flashing these lights? have you tried to reset the unit and resync it?
