what is your average speed?
What is the average speed you are getting with an Orbi? I currently get around 230 Mbps with my Apple Time Capsule. Would the Orbi exceed that?

Your speeds are primarily dependent on your plan from your ISP.
Different routers can affect how much of that speed you'll actually see, but none will magically increase your speed well beyond what your ISP plan allows. Note: Some ISP providers will over-provision some plan speeds by ~20%
For instance, I'm on a 100/10 plan from Comcast, and they do the ~20% over-provision on this particular plan... With Orbi, I consistently get maximum speeds (~120/12) all over my house.
I know Orbi hasn't been working well for many users on this forum, but this latest f/w relaese has been fantastic for me - no disconnects, max speeds everywhere on all devices, and seamless wifi-calling - I've been very pleased with Orbi.
This is on an iPad Pro while (I think) connected to the satellite.
When Orbi works well, it works amazingly well. But the trick is finding good firmware and keeping the router on it. The latest update absolutely tanks performance. This is on the 1.11 firmware.
