What's with the satellites showing "Good" connection but not functional?

Correction: The ring light on the satellite is red (no connection). The backhaul (5G) is still Good in the router web interface.
The satellite is not pingable or reachable via its IP address.

This information appears to be inconsistent. (Either one is true or the other, but not both.) Sometimes the Orbi web interface takes a while to update. If it continues to report a "Good" connection with the satellite, but the satellite shows the magenta LED (sort of 'red') and devices cannot function, then a Factory Reset is the "last recourse".
