Why does Orbi satellite light come on at random times during the day? RBK30

One thing I am noticing is that I can actually use the wifi when the satelllite light is on.

If I can use even when that occurs, perhaps I can live with that.

Should be very usable when BLUE. :smileywink:

My satellite is another color right now and wireless still working fine.

Since it appears to work fine, guess I'll just have to live with the annoying light coming on.

What color is it?

I would run a quick test and see if moving the satellite a bit closer does anything. You can always put it back.

it changes from blue to orange to purple.  

tried moving satellite closer to router but that made things worse in my office.

I moved back to office and it's working fine.  just have the lights on.

Hmm. maybe some form of interference. IF its working when this happens, let it run. At some point, I would move the router out of the basement though.

I'd like to but no easy way of doing that at the moment.

At least it keeps working even when the lights turn on.

If it gets worse or fails to stop working, Try a full factory reset and or move the router from the basement.

Perhaps I should stop focusing on the satellite light so much. 

I am finding the wifi to work the entire time while the light is on so I don't think it's actually disconnected from the network.
