Why doesn't app support AP mode management?

Thanks for the quick reply. I would be. happy to use the Orbi in Router mode, but I get much better performance on my wired ethernet connections with my Arris AT&T router than I do with the Orbi. I made the change to AP mode some time back when I saw the performance difference (typically seeing between 560 - 750 Mbps download on wired ethernet). I just tested this again last week, and the peformance is better, but still no more than 750Mbps download.
The issue to me is simple: you have a complex system in either AP or Router mode, and the app is just a better way to manage either configuration, but Netgear makes AP mode a 2nd class citizen. I can only conclude that they don't prioritize this use case. It's a crappy outcome for the customer, though. This issue, along with lots of others with Orbi system over the past year, has made me re-think my investment in Orbi going forward.
Regardless, thanks for the reply. Would love to see an official response from the Netgear team on this one.
