Why is the local browser menu password required every few minutes?
Why does the local browser menu require the user to re-enter their name and password every 4-5 minutes? It is really frustrating to be required to re-enter that information. Can the user lengthen the time period or turn this feature off?

I agree this is irritating. My experience is that it is the Attached Devices page that requires frequent authentication. (Of course, that is the screen that I have open most of the time.) I know of no way to avoid this.
